Flash tattoo process
You can pick any of my available pre=drawn designs for your next tattoo! Most are flexible on size, color, and can even be modified to suit your ideas. Flash designs may be repeated on multiple people. I post new flash 1-2 times per month.
Custom tattoo process
Please be thorough and specific in your custom request, and add reference images! After I receive your booking form or email, we will solidify a few things over email before you pick an appointment date. To secure your time, a deposit is required. When it comes time for your appointment, I’ll show you the design I’ve drawn, and we’ll have time make sure you’re happy with all the details before tattooing! Small design changes are totally fine, however, significant changes that require a redraw may be charged a new deposit.
Flash designs, small designs, and simpler designs do not usually require a consult unless you request one. Larger or more complex designs may or may not require a consult before booking your tattoo date! Consults are free and done in-person only.
Cost
My base rate is $135/hour. I can give you a quote for any design based on the size and placement we discuss. Other than the deposit, my studio is CASH only! Deposits can be paid via Venmo, Cashapp or Paypal.
Customs: I require a non-refundable deposit of $100 at the time of booking. My minimum price is $135. For small tattoos, you are welcome to get multiple done in one session to fill the hour!
Flash: These are my pre-drawn designs. I require a non-refundable deposit of $50 to book a flash tattoo. My minimum price for flash is $80.
Your deposit comes off the total cost.
Tips are very much appreciated, but not required.
What to bring
Valid ID stating you are over 18
Cash (I can give you an estimate for how much to bring!)
A sweatshirt or blanket just in case
Up to 2 guests, or just yourself!
Optional: headphones, snacks, water, anything you need to be comfy!
Don’ts
Don’t show up sick, on an empty stomach, hungover, or intoxicated.
Don’t bring babies or young children to your appointment.
Don’t get a tattoo if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on blood thinners. Don’t plan your tattoo on skin with active acne, sunburns, razor burns, open wounds, healing scars, psoriasis, any kind of infection, or skin that is very dry, rough or cracked.
Don’t schedule your tattoo during a time when you might be sunburned or hungover before coming in, and do not schedule it right before leaving for a trip where you will be swimming/in the sun all day.
Rescheduling and Lateness
If you need to reschedule, give 48 hours notice at minimum. Your initial deposit will be good for up to 6 months if you give me notice to reschedule. Last minute reschedules other than illness/emergency/weather will require a new deposit! Please reschedule if you’re feeling sick.
Please allow 5-10 minutes to find parking since my space is in downtown Salem. I have a 15-minute grace period for lateness ~ after that, your appointment may need to be rescheduled with a new deposit sent. Please message me if you’re running behind.
If I need to reschedule on my end due to illness/emergency/weather, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you the choice of a new appointment as soon as possible, or a refund of your deposit.
Touch-Ups
I offer free touch-ups up to a year after your tattoo. Touch-ups must be at least one month healed. Please email or direct message me a clear, well-lit photo of your tattoo to schedule a touch-up!
Risk
There is always the risk of infection and allergic reactions to ink when getting a tattoo. You will be required to sign a consent form acknowledging these risks. I follow all Oregon sanitation laws and standards, and I provide aftercare instructions. It is up to you to care for your tattoo during healing to prevent infection.
Longevity
Bigger and bolder designs are typically always better for tattoo longevity. Ink will spread a bit over time, and I want your tattoo to look amazing for the foreseeable future. The more detailed the design, the bigger your tattoo should be. Small tattoos should be simpler, not trying to cram too many elements into one design. Wearing sunscreen, moisturizing, and hydrating can help your tattoo look great long-term.
